Your support is at the core of the Santa Barbara Zoo's ability to remain dedicated to the animals we care for every day and their wild counterparts.
The Zoo officially reopened its doors to the public on January 30. There are a number of modifications in place to protect the health and safety of all guests, staff, and animals. Together, we can make this a fun and safe experience for all guests, staff, and animals! For up-to-date information, please visit the Zoo's website.
While this past year has been one of the toughest in Zoo history, we are optimistic that the Zoo will come out of this challenging time stronger and more resilient than ever before. After the Zoo closed for several months and losing 97% of our revenue sources during both extended closures, the staff learned how to take calculated risks to initiate new and exciting opportunities, to be leaner, and to be more agile.
As the future continues to feel uncertain, one thing remains the same: the Santa Barbara Zoo’s commitment to conservation and excellent animal care.
If you would like to make a donation, please consider making a gift today to support the Santa Barbara Zoo Emergency Operations Fund. You can make your donation online or by sending a check made payable to “Santa Barbara Zoo” to the attention of Lauren Winnewisser at 500 Niños Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93103.
Thanks to supporters like you, the Zoo team can continue to care for and enrich the lives of each and every animal in our care and protect threatened and endangered local species.
